ABOUT BYRON TOWNSHIP RECREATION

Byron Township Recreation is committed to building a strong and healthy community through various activities for all ages. 

The Byron Township Community Center is the home of the Parks and Recreation Department, which offers various programs, classes, events, and trips for youth, adults, and older adults. The Community Center also doubles as a fitness facility, joinable for residents and non-residents.

Byron Township houses many beautiful parks - including Whistlestop Park, Bicentennial Park, and Cutler Park. All parks are open from April through October. 

Park features: paved walking trails, dog park, lacrosse and football fields, 11 ball diamonds, outdoor tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts, multiple children's playgrounds, 3 sheltered pavilions, and much more.
